The Never Ending Diet...

Ok.  I've been trying since the beginning of the year to diet and exercise.  So far, it's not working very well.  I  keep telling myself that I'll start on Monday.  That I'll take my shoes to work and walk on my lunch break.  Weelll...It never happens. I've made excuses and just flat out refused to do it.  I'm one of those that needs a coach of sorts.  

So, I'm going to try this all over again.  Beginning tomorrow I'm going to use this chart that a wonderful woman over at Using Time Wisely.  Ms. Tracy came up with a chart that keeps up with how much water you drink and how much you exercise.  Simply Genius!  Here's a link to the Free Printable Chart.  This chart will help me keep up with how well, or badly, I'm keeping up with everything.  I plan on keeping this in a plastic sleeve so that I can mark what I do with a dry erase marker.

Starting tomorrow, I'm going to eat better, drink more water, and try to walk at least a mile every day.  We don't have a scale in the house because it can be a little discouraging to step on it every morning and find that, even though you've worked very hard, you've gained a pound or two.  Ms. Tracy's chart will help with the water and exercise part but, I'll have to do the eating part on my own.  I'm also going to use my blog to help keep myself on track.
